Hello Reader, Over the last several months, I've taken a hard look at the entire Consulting Mastery program and the challenges independent consultants face at the various stages of their business growth. As I reviewed the material and reflected on past participants, one thing became clear: Consulting Mastery was asking people to work through too much at one time. The material was valuable, but independent consultants need a clearer starting point before moving into growth. To better serve consultants, I decided to divide Consulting Mastery into two separate programs. The separation began with a restructuring of the Business Core material so consultants can focus on what matters most.
The first program is Business Core for Independent Consultants: Align Your Focus, Ideal Client, and Service Offering to Create Clients More Consistently
Business Core is designed for consultants who need greater clarity around what they want to be known for, who they serve, and how they solve problems. Whether you are starting your consulting business or have been consulting for several years, the program focuses on three foundational elements: Focus, Ideal Client, and Service Offering. Together, these elements create the foundation for building awareness, creating clients, generating more consistent revenue, and preparing for future growth. The second program, Growth for Independent Consultants, will be introduced at a future date. Growth for Independent Consultants is intended for consultants who have clarity around their Focus, Ideal Client, and Service Offering and are ready to expand their visibility, relationships, and client opportunities.
While the full Growth program will come later, two parts of the current Consulting Mastery Growth material are now available as limited-time self-study courses:
These courses are for consultants who want practical guidance in specific areas and are open to working through the material independently. You can learn more about the self-study courses here. Enrollment for Business Core will begin later this month. Next week, I'll share more about Business Core, why so many consultants struggle with Focus, Ideal Client, and Service Offering, and why clarity and alignment of these three elements often determines how consistently you create clients. Thank you for being part of this community. I look forward to sharing more with you next week. Laura Burford Whenever You’re Ready, Here’s How I Can Help Resources to Support You
